LIVE IN ALIGNMENT WITH SACRED PURPOSE

Each of us has a soul and thus a sacred calling — but too often, it remains hidden or gets forgotten in the course of busy day-to-day routines.

Sacred Practice leads individuals and small groups, synagogues, and Jewish organizations through a dynamic contemplative process that gives them dedicated time and a safe space to reconnect with their essential purpose and discover ways to live in alignment with that sacred call.

FOR INDIVIDUALS AND SMALL GROUPS

Spiritual Direction

Spiritual Direction is a practice designed for people who are seeking to nurture their relationship with that still, small voice within and the sense of that which is greater than the self — so they can live fuller, more purposeful lives.

FOR SYNAGOGUES AND JEWISH ORGANIZATIONS:

Synagogues and other Jewish organizations are aspirational by nature. I guide them to define their unique sacred purpose and find ways to align everyone around that intention as they fulfill everyday roles and responsibilities.

This process engages clergy, lay leaders, professionals, staff, and all members who participate in advancing their organization’s higher calling.

Reimagining Engagement

Meet Catherine Fischer

I started Sacred Practice after many years of working inside Jewish organizations and helping them realize their full power as centers of meaning, community, and transformation. In 2024, I expanded my practice to include individuals and small groups, earning my certification as a Spiritual Director through the Institute for Jewish Spirituality.

About the Logo

The image of a nautilus fractal captures the essence of Sacred Practice.

The nautilus fractal is a metaphor for the process of spiritual engagement and expression, which empowers individuals and organizations to tap into layers of meaning that were not readily apparent before. Sacred Practice guides them to infuse this meaning and purpose into everything they do.
